If you want to send alarm emails with CAM-AI on your own server (e.g. Raspi users) you need to configure the SMTP account to use for that. Here is how to do this:
(Users of our Webbrowser App can skip this configuration. There is a preinstalled CAM-AI Mail account available.)
In the main menu, you click on “Tools” and then on “Database Admin”.
Now you select the “Settings”-table and set the 6 variables with names starting with “smtp_”. Then you reboot your server. You have now successfully configured the SMTP account on your server.
